Employees are eligible to contribute pre-tax and/or post-tax to a 401k plan on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. Tarter matches contributions $0.50 on the dollar up to 5% of pay. The 401k plan also accepts rollovers from other company plans.
LIFE INSURANCE
All employees are covered by a $25,000 basic life insurance policy. The cost of this policy is covered 100% by Tarter. Employees may purchase additional life insurance for self, their spouse, or children. Premiums are based on age and the amount of insurance you want to purchase.
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PAY
2nd shift & weekend employees will receive an additional allotment for these shifts.
